Interactivity
There are six different kinds of Interactivity. The following is an example of each kind along with a brief analysis of them:
1. Control: Skyscanner
- Skyscanner lets its users define their trip completely and entirely; their dates, the airline, the time they wish to fly, the prices.
2. Feedback: Pandora Radio
- Even though Pandora does not exist here in Spain, it does exist in the U.S.A. Pandora allows its users to give feedback on the songs it plays for you via a 'thumbs up' or a 'thumbs down'. You are also allowed six skips on a certain 'radio'.
3. Productivity: Amazon
- Giving their customers such a hands-on approach to the buying of a certain product shows great productivity in Amazon's website.
4. Creativity: Youtube
- Youtube lets people be the most creative and interactive with each other that they can be. Via music videos, normal videos, news, or campaigns people on youtube express themselves in which ever way they desire.
5. Adaptable: Google
- Google is a search engine that molds itself around the searcher. Often times do you find ads on the sidebar of Google while searching or working on something that apply more and more to yourself and your interests.
6. Communication: Gmail
- Gmail and everything that comes with it has enabled easy communication in between users and non-users daily. Gmail has gphone, gchat, gvideo, SMS texting with cell phone numbers, and now something called Google + that consists of "Circles" which make it even easier for users to categorize and contact friends, families, and acquaintances.
Twitter Interactivity:
Control is something seen apparent right when you make a Twitter account as it asks you whether or not you want your tweets to be public. You can also control the language you put your twitter in as well as the tweets you post and can read.
Communication is exercised via photos, links, and normal tweets in between users.
Productivity: Twitter can be a platform for business corporations, news organizations, sports teams, or politicians. It allows them to sell their product or service in a sort of ongoing advertising campaign.
Adaptable: Each user can use and define their twitter in whichever way they would like.

Getting used to Comunication Multimedia
As a person who has never really used the internet for anything other than keeping in touch with friends or family (may it be via Gmail or Facebook), or catching up on the news, this is quite new to me. I can already tell that Communication Multimedia will be quite the challenge, as it has not only made me get one blog, but two! For a third year student studying Advertising and Public Relations you would think I'd have more experience with this type of thing, but alas, I have not had the pleasure.
This class will have me creating a personal blog, a tumblr, of which the theme shall be purely personal. I've almost decided that it shall consist of some sort of travel theme, perhaps even telling stories of my travels, or maybe discussing places I'd hope to go to because of history I've learned or stories I've heard. You see, being a New Yorker with Venezuelan (with French ancestry), Spanish, and Cuban grandparents, I've had quite the mix in my life. The other blog shall be this one, more school-related and homework-like.
As I previously mentioned, this is the first time I've ever done anything like this, so it shall be quite the struggle because I'm not accustomed. Having a blog requires a great deal of dedication, the type of dedication that one usually puts into things like school work or jobs. I guess since this now goes under the headline of 'school work' I shall just have to put my best to the test. Having these two blogs shall also require a great deal of inspiration as I feel my 'creative writing' has been a bit rusty from lack of use.
The final project shall be a great group experience to get to learn how to work with a team when dealing with multimedia campaigns. Besides, I think that when doing any communication campaign it's always most beneficial when you have a group. Each head always brings a different idea to the table, so things get more interesting.
I'm looking forward to all of this, let's see if I can rise to the challenge.
